Wondering Lost

WoW...September sure come and left in a hurry. I can't believe fall is here already. The summer sure flew by. Not much to report...I know ...same old ...same old. I am finding there just isn't enough hours in the day to get everything done. And with the sun setting earlier everyday, I really have to get my act in gear and get the outside "to do" list on the go. Before you know it, the ground will be covered with snow. My little puppy is doing great, almost 99% better now. Been thinking maybe I should get another little one, but not until spring. The training of puppies I find is much easier in the spring, then trying to house train in the winter. LOL...don't really blame them, I wouldn't want to go outside in the cold and do my "business" either. Hummm... not much else is going on....if something happens I'll keep you posted, until the next time...cheers!

Ok here is the update on my little guy. The infection is finally under controll, and the medication is doing its job. The test results showed that the bacteria are both under the skin and on top of the foot. So in 1 to 2 months the foot should return back to normal. Because the infection was so bad, the foot grew extra skin around his pads on his paws. This will take some time to heal. After this time, the vet will re-examine his foot and then determine if any further action should be taken. The main thing is that he will be okay. I feel a little bit better now. So only 6 more days of pain killers and meds and my little guy should be back to normal. From this day on, I am going to take extra care when venturing outside. The total cost is $1,000.00 so far for vet costs. So you can see why I am going to be extra careful. It is not cheap!!
