Ok everyone I have a personal story to tell you….
Before I begin those who know me well; know that I have two pug dogs. Every night like clock work, I get them ready to go to sleep by taking them for a long walk making sure they are “empty”. They sleep in their kennels; this is to make sure that in the middle of the night they don’t get into anything that might hurt them. Plus they love their own beds. (They are still pups so where there is trouble….you will find them)!!
Ok, so like every night, I put them in their kennels on the main floor and I head to bed. Last night was like any other night…..except….
I am in a deep sleep…..it’s dark outside….and I slowly awake to the sound of…..sniff….snifffff……(image the sound of a dog sniffing like crazy….) I quickly realize that some how my dog has gotten upstairs and into my bedroom. How can this be…when they are locked up in their kennels…he shouldn’t be out running around????
I panic….quickly waking up to realize….SOMEONE must be in the house….how else could he have gotten out. I was 99.9% sure that I had locked all of the doors before going to bed. I must have not locked one of them. So to be on the safe side, I grab my cell phone and my little pup, and began to head downstairs.
I get to the main floor ….and sure enough…all the doors are locked….just like I had thought I had done. So how did the dog get out??????
I checked the basement and the main floor and there was no one in the house besides me. The other dog was fast asleep… nothing can wake him up.
So I looked at O and thought “Okay you must be pulling a Houdini trick on me……”
I put him back in his cage…at this time I looked at the clock 2:00am….
I managed to get back to sleep…….But I still have no idea how the dog got out….
Better not pull the same trick again tonight…..I have decided that his new nickname will most fittingly be “Houdini…the amazing pug”!!!!!

So it has been a month since my last post. Besides the super cold weather we have been having here (-45 with the winchill factor), nothing really new has been going on. Got the x-mas shopping all done, actually going to the post office to mail everything out today. Hopefully the line-up isn't too long. It feels really good to be done early this year.....Note to self...do the shopping early every year!!!.
No big plans for the holidays yet. The next few weeks are going to be really busy with work. Have to get all my projects done before the 15th. So I should get a week or two off, might head to the coast for a few days after x-mas to relax. All really depends on the weather I guess.
