The long weekend is finally here. I need this break more than ever, things have been so crazy around here, I have family staying with me, and they just informed me that they are planning on staying for yet another month.
So my question to you all is, how in the world do I get rid of them??????
They are leaving for a short time this weekend for a few days...YAHOO...but I don't want them to come back...
It wouldn't be so bad, except I work from home, so trying to get my clients projects done has been near impossible. Plus they refuse to cook their own meals, so I am stuck with the task ... and I find myself spending half my days cleaning up after them. They have taken over my basement and made it their "new" home.
I can sense the clam before the storm......
So if anyone has any suggestions, now is the time to speak up...please!!!!!

I know it has been awhile since my last post, so here is whats going on...
I finally started to put up my fence, I have all the posts in, now this weekend I am going to get the pickets, and hopefully if the weather stays nice, I can get this project finished this weekend. My little "O" will be so happy, as he will then have free run of the whole backyard. Even though the backyard isn't really all that big, it sure beats the 100 sq. ft or so that he gets now...lol.
My half brother is leaving for Russia tomorrow for 2 months to go visit with his family there, so tonight I think we are going to have dinner or do something along those lines. This might be his last trip out there for a while, as he usually goes ever summer for 2 months. So I have a pretty long list of stuff I would like him to get for me ...lol ;)
My sister just got back from her road trip to California and Nevada, by the looks of her pictures she took, it looked like a really great time. I might have to make the trip myself pretty soon.
Well wish me luck with my home projects, I will keep you all "posted" :)

I was thinking would anyone be interested in doing a "snail mail" exchange of things from their countries / hometowns? I was thinking it would be kindof cool to exchange things that were unique and only found in certain places around the world.

So here is the lastest news...
The puppy had his operation and is doing wonderful, we went to the vet this week and according to her little O is in great health. His teeth have healed and he no longer requires any medication.
The dentist, well that went great as well. No problems with the teeth...Yahoo!!!
... still have one more meeting today, but other than that all is good with work.
Now the weather on the other hand is gross, it has been raining for the last 3 days, and according to the tv it isn't going to let up any time soon ... so maybe the yard work will have to get put off this weekend. Bummer...LOL
