Happy Halloween everyone!!!!

Thursday, October 28, 2004

Well just celebrated another birthday just a little while ago. It is truly amazing how quickly time flies by when you reach that certain point in your life. Never the less it was yet another bust. I remember as a kid my mother making this huge ordeal when it came to birthdays, even those I attended school with. She would spend days making birthday hats and crowns, and making these amazing cakes in cool cartoon shapes. We would have huge birthday parties and all my friends from school would be there. It was a wonderful time. Where have those days gone, I know it starts to disappear at a certain age, but why??? Is it because we develop some kind of inhumane pride? That we think it’s childish in some manner? I know through my years I have met many people who never experienced the childhood memories that me and my siblings had, but how sad is that… I really think that on days like this we should come together and enjoy the moment… because after you go to sleep and wake the next day…the moment has simply gone and vanished…yet the memories last a life time….I guess there are those in life that do and those in life that just teach…. I hope I can do both….

Cheers!!!!

A Lunar Convergence: Eclipse & Return to the Moon
10.25.04
The year 2004 is shaping up to be a memorable one for the Moon. Wednesday night brings us a total lunar eclipse visible throughout the country, while at the same time NASA begins preparations to return to the Moon with its new focus on exploration.

Lunar eclipses are one of the most beautiful and easiest celestial events to witness - just walk outside and look up - no telescopes or special glasses required. During totality, Earth casts a reddish-colored shadow over the Moon lasting over an hour.

Well spent the weekend decorating the house for Halloween instead of working. But the house looks so cool, I built a coffin and some tombstones, and with a few lights it looks like my own personal graveyard. Oh the kids are going to love it. I had my sister’s little one over on Sunday, and he says it’s cool. So I guess I am set..lol!!

Still having troubles with the puppy he started to show some bad signs last night, I think I will give it a few days, it things get worse I guess we are going to have to go back to the vet. It’s like having children; it really sucks when they are ill. I wish there was more I could do. I have really gotten attached to this little dude. It’s so nice to have the company around, makes the house feel more like home.

I will keep you posted…cheers

With Halloween just around the corner, I think I am going to spend the weekend decorating the outside of the house…I love this holiday. Oh puppy is getting into something….

Wow it’s already October, time sure has been flying around here. Not much time to focus on the little things. So it’s official I am now the new owner of my very own house. And the puppy seems to be doing a lot better. We are still monitoring his progress but if all goes well in the next few weeks then we should be in the clear. It has been a long month with the puppy falling ill and trying to get this mortgage, but I think the time is coming to finally kick back and relax. For some reason I am not use to having things so still, I really hope this isn’t the quiet before the storm.

Does anybody still stop here?
