What a nice day it is today. The weather has finally warmed up....I can hear the snow melting off the roof. LOL...what a mess the roads are going to be this afternoon.
Still having the odd dream flashback now and again. I think its the winter cabin fever getting the best of me. Can't make much sense of it all right now, but the say our dreams are trying to tell us something from deep within....wonder what the heck that could be!!
Talked to my grandma today. It is always nice to hear from her, she is the only link I have now to my mothers' side of the family. She seems to be doing better health wise, which makes me happy. I really wish I didn't live so far away, we are about a 20 hour drive from each other. I would love to be able to spend some time with her and help her out with things.
My mother passed away over 20 years ago from breast cancer, and today my grandma informed me that one of my mothers best friends was trying to find me. I remember her from when I was very young, my mother and her use to get together all the time for tea. She has 3 kids that were very close in age to me and my brother and sister. We had a great time playing together all us kids. Well when my father remarried his new wife didn't want us kids being in contact with her any longer. Why....well my stepmother was .....have you seen Cinderella...yup....thats her...the wicked stepmother. (Thank the lord my father divorced her 6 years later!!!).
Well , I picked up the phone and called my mothers best friend today....she wasn't home...so I left a message....I will have to keep you all posted...
I guess I should take the dogs out to the park and enjoy this beautiful weather while it lasts.....
